The short version: we store your email address and your map, use them only to run the app, and measure how the app gets used so we can improve it.

The app

Your account holds the email address you sign in with and the map you build — rooms, devices, breakers, mapping sessions. They’re used to sign you in and to sync your map between your devices.

We record how the app is used, so we can find the places it confuses people. That goes through PostHog, a third party whose servers are in the United States, and includes session recordings and error reports.

In a replay, all text and anything you type are masked before it leaves your browser, so it shows where you tapped and scrolled, not what was written on the screen: no room names, no device labels, no notes. We never tell PostHog who you are. The email address you sign in with is not sent to it, and every session it sees is anonymous. It sets a cookie so it can tell one visit from the next.

Your map is never sold, shared, or used for advertising. Delete your account and your map is deleted with it. You can download your complete map as a JSON file at any time.

This website

These pages use Plausible, which we host ourselves, so visit data goes to us rather than to an analytics company. Aggregate visit counts only: no cookies, no advertising pixels, and nothing that follows you to other sites. The company that hosts the site also records ordinary web requests, the way any host does.
